The ongoing relationship between Central Methodist University and Ozarks Technical Community College will be celebrated and showcased later this month as representatives from both schools will gather for a signing event and open house on April 27. The event will take place at the OTC Waynesville location, where CMU will soon begin offering a hybrid program that blends online learning and traditional face-to-face instruction.
The event will begin at 11 a.m., with remarks by leaders from both schools on the agenda, along with a signing ceremony. A formal signing of the articulation agreement between the institutions took place in October and will be renewed at the April event. The agreement provides guidelines for the transfer of associate level degrees from Ozarks Tech to CMU.
The event will also celebrate CMU’s establishment of an on-ground elementary education hybrid program at the Waynesville location. With this program, a student can participate in-person or Zoom one night a week, with the rest online. This delivery method is designed to enhance the learning experience by accommodating diverse learning styles and schedules, making education more accessible to a broader range of students.
The open house event at the OTC Waynesville Center (600 G.W. Lane) will be open to the public.
Many representatives from Central with be on-hand for the event, including several staff members from the College of Graduate and Extended Studies (CGES).
