CMU, Crowder Renew Agreements

Dr. Chett Daniel and Dr. Rita GulstadOfficials from Central Methodist University and Crowder College met this week to sign renewed agreements for several 2+2 programs between the institutions. These agreements provide pathways for Crowder students to continue their education in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree with CMU.

CMU accepts all Associate of Arts, Associate of Arts Teaching, Associate of Applied Science, and Associate of Science degrees seamlessly upon graduation from Crowder College.

“Partnerships with universities that provide seamless transfer opportunities for students are critical in reducing barriers and costs for a degree,” stated Dr. Chett Daniel, president of Crowder College. “We believe career pathways for in-demand career opportunities in our region should be designed with the needs of the student at the center of the plan. CMU is a reliable partner in creating opportunities that serve our students.”

"Our partnership with Crowder is invaluable, creating seamless transfer opportunities that directly benefit students by providing clear pathways to continue their education,” said Dr. Rita Gulstad, CMU provost. “This collaboration is instrumental in developing a more skilled and educated workforce. Our shared mission allows both Crowder College and Central Methodist to effectively meet local and regional industry needs."
