Chorale Launches Fall Tour

CMU ChoraleThe Central Methodist University Chorale will set out on its annual tour this month under new director Prof. Tom Clark and with the artistry of Prof. Zachary Kierstead on piano. Their tour will begin with a home performance at Linn Memorial UMC on Sunday, November 17. The Chorale will perform as part of worship service at Linn at 10:30 a.m.

On Wednesday, November 20, the group will travel to Marshall High School, the first of six school visits on the tour, concentrated in the west central side of the state. The evening concerts are graciously hosted by UMC congregations. The school and church concerts will include selections from South Dakota Shadows Suite, a choral tone poem by composer Jackson Berkey.
