Registration is still open for the college visit that’s more than just a visit. On Saturday, October 19, prospective students and their families will be able to experience the full range of Central Methodist University’s campus life through the Central Experience.
Open to high school juniors and seniors, Central Experience is an opportunity for students to visit Fayette and get to know our community and campus. The day-long event is a chance for those looking into colleges to get to know life as a Central student, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about student organizations, academic programs, and the beautiful campus straight from the source.
The day will begin with check-in at 8 a.m., followed by a welcome and day overview. Students will then experience an Academic Fair, where they will have a chance to learn about the various educational opportunities Central has to offer. Campus tours will close out the morning session, starting at 11.
In the afternoon, students can have lunch from local food trucks, visit the Eagle Store to purchase Central gear, and take part in the Involvement fair. The schedule will end with a closing session and prize drawing at 1:30 p.m., but students are also invited to stick around Fayette for an Eagle soccer double-header. The women’s game will begin at 1 p.m. at Davis Field, with the men’s game following at 3:30.
