Awards Earned at 59th Band Day

Sound of Central field performanceThe campus of Central Methodist University and the streets of Fayette were once again filled with music and supportive cheers as the 59th Annual Band Day was held on Saturday, October 12. More than 25 schools were in attendance across the competitions in the parade, field, and indoor disciplines.

Many of the schools were led by directors who have attended or are attending Central. Alumni and graduate student directors included Kelly Briggs ’21 (North Harrison), Andrew Adams ’24 (Glasgow), Jessica Arnold ’23 (Cole Camp), Micheal Williams ’19 (Salisbury), Ryan Lewis ’17 (Hallsville), Heather Armstrong ’22 (Moberly), Alec Fields ’21 (Boonville), and Michael Watts ’23 (Boonville).

The top schools in each class went home with trophies and awards for each category. Those results are listed below.
