The Swinney Conservatory of Music at Central Methodist University will present a choir concert on Sunday, April 21 at Linn Memorial United Methodist Church. The Spring Choral Bouquet, featuring the CMU choirs, will begin at 3 p.m.
Dr. Patrick Dill, assistant professor of music, will be the conductor for the concert, while Janet O’Neill will be the collaborative keyboard artist for the performances. The choir class of 2024 will be the soloists on the day, with Gram Coalier performing a solo in “Skye Boat Song” and solos by Cole Nowlin, Dalton Myler, Emily Myler, Anna Pendergrass, and Grady Baker in “A Patch of Light.”
The concert will be presented with four parts, featuring music from several different eras. Choral personnel listed in the program for the event include the following students:
Soprano – Meredith Ash, Lizzie Berry, Madisyn Conway, Cadence Lutman, Richelle Milburn, Emily Millstead, Emily Myler, Grace O’Neal, Devin Rodgerson, Lauren Shields, and Jordyn Williamson
Alto – Harmony Andrews, Taylor Baker, Mallory Boyer, Allison Gowin, Samantha Maddux, Cocone Matsuzawa, Mariah Nichols, Anna Pendergrass, and Arielle Prince
