Agreement Renewed with Mineral Area

CMU-MAC.jpgCentral Methodist University and Mineral Area College recently signed a five-year renewal of their articulation agreement allowing for easy transfers to Central for MAC students.

Signed on April 27, the agreement renews a partnership dating back to 1989. The agreement has grown over the years from three degrees offered to now more than 30 different undergraduate majors, as well as graduate degrees.

“We are grateful to be able to continue this strong, long-standing relationship with Mineral Area College,” said Dr. Rita Gulstad, CMU provost. “We’re both committed to providing a seamless and supportive transfer experience for the students at Park Hills.”

A group of Central employees – Jeff Williams, Deborah DeGan Dixon, Maile Pihana Rhorer, Hilary Williams, and Steven Noble – joined the MAC team at the Park Hills campus to mark the occasion with a ceremonial signing by Gulstad and MAC president Joe Gilgour. The group also joined Park Hills officials in recognizing MAC provost Roger McMillan, who has been a great supporter of the program and is retiring this year.
