Mackenzie Hustead knew her way around the Central Methodist University campus this week when she started her new job as an admissions counselor. After all, she graduated from CMU in 2017.
Hustead, from Edina in northeast Missouri, was excited to begin working as a recruiter after spending five years teaching high school English and coaching cheer at Macon High School.
“I’m looking forward to sharing my love for Central with students and parents,” she said.
Hustead enjoys reading and is known to binge great television shows for hours. She is a podcast addict, and she loves sports too. In addition, she remains very close to her mother, Carla, who still lives in Edina.
“She’s my first phone call for everything,” Hustead said. “I can’t imagine it being any other way. She’s one of a kind.”
