Central Methodist University’s annual Chorale Tour will kick off this week, taking the school’s talented singers across the state to perform at a number of schools and churches. The group will perform its first public stop on Thursday, November 17, and will wrap up on Monday, November 21.
Dr. Patrick Dill, assistant professor of music, will once again be leading the Chorale singers on tour. The following students will be participating as members of the Chorale:
Soprano – Amanda Schrivener (Kearney/marine biology), Gracie Hartford (Fayetteville, Ark./interdisciplinary studies), Lilly Powell (Wentzville/music education), Emily Gann (Lake Saint Louis/music education), and Sarah King (El Dorado Springs/English).
Alto – Tristin Prewitt (Huntsville/music education), Cadence Lutman (Versailles/music), Mallory Boyer (Troy/business), Arielle Prince (Pevely/music), and Anna Pendergrass (Sullivan/music education).
Tenor – Connor Rich (St. Joseph/music education), Grady Baker (Boonville/music ministry), Nathan Wren (Ballwin/music education), Cole Nowlin (Centralia/theatre arts), Rob Brown (St. Peters/music), and Dalton Myler (Lebanon/music).
Bass – Danny Eckoff (Emma/music education), Tres Hampton (Dexter/political science), Andrew Adams (New Franklin/music education), Brandon Swanson (Marceline/music education), Colby Vincent (Macon/business), and Paul Reinert (Park Hills/music).
The Chorale will perform on the following dates, at church events open to the public:
Thursday, November 17
7 p.m. – Arch United Methodist Church (Hannibal)
Friday, November 18
7 p.m. – Memphis United Methodist Church
Saturday, November 19
7 p.m. – Kirksville First United Methodist Church
Sunday, November 20
10:30 a.m. – Chillicothe United Methodist Church
