College isn’t just something you see. It’s something you experience. On Saturday, September 24, both current and prospective students and their families will be able to experience the full range of Central Methodist University’s campus life.
Prospective students have the opportunity to visit Fayette for the annual Central Experience Day and get to know our community and campus. The day-long event is a chance for those looking into colleges to get to know life as a Central student, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about student organizations, academic programs, and the beautiful campus straight from the source.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 24, with registration opening at 8 a.m. in Assembly Hall. Visitors will then receive a welcome from Dr. Joe Parisi, vice president for enrollment management and athletics, before being split into groups for breakout sessions.
Throughout the morning, perspective students will hear a presentation on Central’s Digital U initiative, participate in a Q&A session with CMU faculty and student ambassadors, take a campus tour with a stop in the Eagle Store, experience a Day in the Life of an Eagle, and hear about our financial aid and scholarship opportunities.
In the afternoon, visitors can hang out in the VIP hospitality tent at the Central vs. Culver-Stockton football game, complete with food, games, prize drawings, and more chances to interact with CMU students, faculty, and staff. Those interested can also stick around to watch the Eagles take on Graceland in men’s and women’s soccer in the evening.

For those already part of the Central Methodist community, Family Day is an opportunity for students’ families to visit and see how campus life is going for their student.
Family Day can provide a sense of comfort for parents and much needed family time for the students. Families are free to explore campus and the city of Fayette, but also have the option to be interactive through the various activities that Student Programming has planned.
