Less than two months after her graduation from Central Methodist University, 2022 alumna Sara Ratliff has returned to campus to begin working as the new dual credit support specialist for the College of Graduate and Extended Studies.
A Higbee native, Ratliff majored in history and sociology at Central before graduating summa cum laude and with honors in the major. As a student, she worked in the Smiley Library and as a tutor for history and political science.
Ratliff says she is still learning the ropes in her new job but is happy to have the opportunity to return to Central.
“I’m excited to get to work for CMU,” she said. “It’s become like a second home to me. It’s a good place to work.
In addition to her new job, Ratliff will soon begin working toward a master’s degree in library science from the University of Missouri. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, art, and spending time with her two dogs.
