Athletic Auction Coming July 15

auction-21.jpgIt’s time to celebrate Eagle Athletics at Central Methodist University, as the Sixth Annual Athletic Auction is just around the corner on July 15. More than 300 people are expected to attend the event, with proceeds going to support student-athletes on Central’s varsity and reserve teams.

The event will be held in Puckett Fieldhouse on the Fayette campus, starting with the silent auction and hor d’oeurves at 5:30 p.m. Festivities will continue with live music throughout, dinner at 6:30 p.m., and the main event live auction at 8 p.m. Featured speakers will be President Roger Drake and athletic director Jeff Sherman ’83, with Dick Hutchinson ’83 leading the live auction.

Dozens of items, experiences, and other gifts will be available for bid in both the silent and live auctions. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on live items such as custom one-of-a-kind Eagle gear, a private flight for three adults, a South Dakota pheasant hunt, Royals and Cardinals baseball tickets, stays at the Lake of the Ozarks, and more.

This year’s silent auction bidding will open on July 11 and is open to all, including those unable to attend the event in person. More than 100 silent auction items, including tickets, gift cards, golf outings, and more, will be auctioned off throughout the night.

Tickets for the event are $90 for individuals, $150 for couples, or $700 for a table of 10. Find out more information and purchase tickets at https://one.bidpal.net/cmueagles/welcome.
