The Concert Band at Central Methodist University will be wrapping up the last week of classes with its final performance of the school year on Saturday, May 7. Professor Roy “Skip” Vandelicht will serve as the conductor for the 4 p.m. concert, to be held in Linn Memorial United Methodist Church.
Selections from the program include John Philip Sousa’s The Liberty Bell, The Grace in Being by Julie Giroux, and “America” from West Side Story. Members of the incoming freshman class for the Swinney Conservatory of Music will also be featured in a performance of K.L. King’s Barnum and Bailey’s Favorite.
The concert band personnel will be led by the Keith House Band Fellow, Madalyn Bartholomew, and the Ken and Nancy Seward Band Fellow, Makenzie Sisney. Current members to perform include:
