St. Louis native Briana Foltz is the newest member of the Central Methodist University business office staff, after starting work as the new CLAS billing specialist on March 1.
Foltz attended North Park University in Chicago, studying criminal justice and earning her license to be an emergency medical technician. She would later move back to Missouri and go on to work as a public safety dispatcher with the Saint Ann Police Department and later the Ferguson Police Department. After moving to Howard County with her husband, she took on the same role with Howard County 911 and most recently worked as a service coordinator at Wiese USA in Columbia.
Now, Foltz is enrolled at Central to study business and pivoting to a fitting career path. As the new billing specialist, she will be responsible for coordinating the billing processes for CLAS programs. Responsibilities include assisting students and parents with billing questions, processing payments, and reviewing payment plan balances.
Outside of work, Foltz and her husband are “trying to establish life outside the city” by managing a farm in Glasgow, where they have cattle, horses, chickens, and dogs.
