Central Methodist University will soon hold its annual Alumni Choir Concert, with beloved professor emeritus Dr. Claude Westfall serving as guest conductor.
The concert is scheduled for 5 p.m., April 9, at Linn Memorial United Methodist Church. Those participating will need to be present at 8 a.m. for registration and 9 a.m. for rehearsal.
The program for the day includes many of Westfall’s favorite pieces from his time at Central, including “Hallelujah Chorus” by Beethoven, “How Lovely Are Thy Dwellings” by Brahms, and “Beautiful Savior” arranged by F.M. Christianson.
Registration is now open at www.centralalumnievents.com. This year’s registration is free for 2020 and 2021 graduates. Those alumni are asked to email advance@centralmethodist.edu to register for free.
