Students and recruiters alike may still register for the 2022 Career EXPO at Central Methodist University, to be held February 24. The event will again be held virtually over Handshake, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the last Thursday of the month.
More than 60 institutions have already registered to take part in the event, including those in the fields of healthcare, education, finance, social services, and many other realms. A full list of participating recruiters can be found at https://www.centralmethodist.edu/about/offices/career/career-expo.html.
The CMU Career EXPO has long been a launching pad for the careers of students on the Fayette campus. The event presents a unique opportunity for students to get a feel for the job market they’ll enter upon graduation, and employers have a chance to get to know Central’s prepared and motivated student body.
This year all students, including those in the healthcare and education majors, have been invited to participate. They will learn more about the companies and organizations recruiting talented team members, review available one-on-one interviews and group sessions, and begin preparing for virtual interviewing.
Students interested in attending the Career EXPO should register on Handshake. The Career Development Center on the second floor of the Inman Student and Community Center can help set up a Handshake account for anyone who does not already have one. The staff is also available to assist with creating career documents such as resumes.
Employers are also encouraged to register through Handshake at https://app.joinhandshake.com/emp/career_fairs/28806.
