Some of the most popular shows from the Little Theatre in recent years are now available to watch on demand, as A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Rabbit Hole, and The Little Prince have been published on ShowTix4U.
The shows, originally performed in front of both in-person and online audiences, are now available to be rented for 48 hours each and watched on a computer or mobile device. With the limited capacity and specific windows for the livestreams of the original performances, this is the perfect opportunity for those that missed the shows to witness the outstanding work of the Little Theatre casts and crew.
In fact, according to director of theatre Dr. Mark Kelty, the on-demand versions have been edited together with the best of each of the performances. The first two plays were performed while wearing clear masks, allowing for both the safety of the casts and crew and the ability to appreciate the characters’ expressiveness. Rabbit Hole was performed without masks, as almost the entirety of the cast had been vaccinated.
The musical comedy A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder tells the tale of Monty Navarro, the black sheep of the D’Ysquith family, who finds out he is ninth in line to inherit a dukedom and decides to eliminate the other eight heirs standing in his way. CMU’s P. Rob Brown plays the lead role, while freshman Cole Nowlin gives a memorable performance as various members of the D’Ysquith family.
In Rabbit Hole, a couple begins drifting apart after a life-shattering accident and must search for comfort in the darkest of places. Brown and Catherine Barnard play the lead roles, while Nowlin, Kona Asi, and Amanda Schrivener round out the small cast.
And in the classic story of The Little Prince, after a plane crash in the desert The Aviator encounters the curious Little Prince while working to rebuild his plane. The Little Theatre production features Katelyn Watts as The Aviator and Nowlin as The Little Prince.
