Choir Concert Coming This Weekend

Central Methodist University’s most talented voices will be on display this weekend, as the CMU Choir Concert takes place on Sunday, April 18. Under the direction of Dr. Patrick Dill, the Chorale and Conservatory singers will perform in Linn Memorial United Methodist Church, beginning at 4 p.m.

The program features two acts, separated by an intermission. In the first act, titled “The Light Within,” selections include songs by James Bieru, Johan Sebastian Bach, Andrea Ramsey, and others. The second act, “Thy Saving Health,” will feature music by William Byrd, Gweneth Walker, George Frederick Handel, and more.

Members of the Chorale who will participate are listed by section:

  • Soprano – Madalyn Bartholomew, Libby Cueni-Smith, Addy Gabriel, Anna Geurkink, Hailey Sage, and Amanda Schrivener
  • Alto – Kona Asi, Crystal Kimmi, Joni Lehman, Amanda Lewis, Kylie VanGundy, and Kennedy Walker
  • Tenor – Rob Brown, Ezechiel Daos, Tres Hampton, Dalton Myler, Connor Rich, and Nathan Wren
  • Bass – Alex Autry, Isaac Bartholomew, Alec Fields, Ben Pilger, Brandon Swanson, and Nick Vick
