It’s not too late for students and employers/recruiters alike to register for Central Methodist University’s upcoming Career Expo. This year’s event will be held virtually, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, February 25.
The Career Expo has long been a launching pad for CMU students’ and graduates’ careers. The event presents a unique opportunity for students to get a feel for the job market they’ll enter upon graduation, and for employers to get to know Central’s prepared and motivated students.
Some of the institutions already registered to attend the event include Cox Health Systems, H&R Block, Midwest Regional Bank, the Office of the Missouri State Auditor, and UMKC School of Pharmacy. The lineup includes many more businesses and graduate schools, all ready to showcase their organizations and identify leaders at CMU who are seeking full-time employment, summer jobs, internships, and graduate/professional school information.
Students interested in attending the Career Expo will need to register on Handshake here. The Career Development Center on the second floor of the Inman Student and Community Center can help set up a Handshake account for anyone who does not already have one. The staff is also available to assist with creating career documents such as resumes.
Employers are also encouraged to register through Handshake at the following link: https://bit.ly/2MbIb3b.
