After a successful first run with performing to a live and online audience this fall, the players of the Little Theatre are back this month with a pair of short plays in a show titled Haunted Lives.
The show will run from January 21-24, with the Thursday through Saturday shows beginning at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday matinee taking place at 1:30. As with the previous show, in-person seating will be available on a limited basis for the campus community on evening shows, while Sunday seating will be invitation only. The plays will be directed by professor Lonna Wilke, who will also serve as the scenic and light director. Terri Rohlfing is the costume designer, and Paul Byland is the scene shop foreman. Poppy Garner of Saint Charles, Mo. will be the assistant director and stage manager, while Harley Dohrman of Slater, Mo. is the assistant stage manager.
In the cast for the first of the two plays, A Witch’s Brew, Katelyn Watts of Louisiana, Mo. will play Daed; Kayla Wainscott of Butler, Mo. will play Jule; and Eric Lotz of Imperial, Mo. will play Tucker.
In A Ghost Story, Cole Nowlin of Centralia, Mo. has been cast as Hackett; Dale Dowse of Urich, Mo. will play Oswald; and Tabitha Ott of Arnold, Mo. will round out the cast as Soma.
The tech crew for the show includes Loni Watts of Louisiana, Mo.; Lexi Begemann of Fulton, Mo.; Rob Brown of Saint Peters, Mo.; Emily Gann of Lake Saint Louis, Mo.; Dalton Myler of Lebanon, Mo.; Martin Hynick of Marshall, Mo.; Jaiden Preston of Kennett, Mo.; Samantha Cox of Saint Louis, Mo.; Alex Sauer of Blackwater, Mo.; Amanda Schrivener of Kearney, Mo.; Jesus Pena of Brownsville, Texas; Anna Geurkink of Perryville, Mo.; and Hailey Sage of Fayette, Mo. Zach Barnes of Jefferson City, Mo. is responsible for the sound design.
