Doogs Latest Gulstad Scholarship Winner

Doogs.jpgPaige Doogs of Sedalia is the newest recipient of Central Methodist University’s Gulstad Achievement Scholarship for Spring 2021. The scholarship is awarded each semester to up to five deserving students transferring into the College of Graduate and Extended Studies (CGES).

Doogs, an elementary education major, says she has wanted to be a teacher for as long as she can remember. After completing her associate’s degree in just three semesters at State Fair Community College, she will now be working to achieve her goal through CMU. With this scholarship, she will receive $1,000 toward tuition to help reach her goal.

The Gulstad Award is named after longtime CMU provost Dr. Rita Gulstad and was established to provide scholarship funds to qualified community college students who would like to continue their education through Central.
