Marshall native Kendra Polson is the newest employee to join the Central Methodist University business office, taking over the position of CGES accounts advisor.
In her new job, Polson is responsible for processing withdrawals and other paperwork within the College of Graduate and Extended Studies. Having most recently worked as an examiner with Quest Diagnostics and a photo editor at Inter-State Studios, she says everything she’s done in her job since starting on October 19 has been “pretty exciting.”
“I’m learning more and more, and it can be overwhelming but I am excited by what I’ve learned so far,” Polson said.
Her home life can also be summed up as overwhelming and exciting, as Polson says she and her husband, Tyler, usually have eventful weekends with their children, Aiden (10) and A’lani (8).
“My son does basketball and football, and my daughter does pretty much everything,” she said. “So we’re pretty busy on weekends.”
