Central Methodist University’s annual scholarship competition, Central’s Got Talent, is now accepting registrations.
Open to high school students in their senior year, the CGT competition on December 11 will give talented students a chance to shine in vocal, instrumental, and praise band areas. Students from any intended major or course of study are eligible.
Judged by CMU faculty, the top six winners will receive offers in the range of a half-tuition to a full-tuition scholarship. All participating students will receive scholarship offers.
The competition will take place on the Fayette campus, with social distancing in mind and masks worn when appropriate (current CMU students will be off campus by this time after the Thanksgiving holiday). There will be opportunities for participants to meet and visit with CMU music faculty about their future in the Conservatory.
Students interested in competing may register here until November 30. For more information or questions, email Elizabeth Kirby at ekirby@centralmethodist.edu or call the office of admissions at 660-248-6251.
