A pair of Central Methodist University nursing students have been awarded Golden Cross scholarships for the year, in conjunction with the Missouri Conference of the United Methodist Church.
This year’s recipients are Shafi Fasihuddin and Raquel Kausler, both natives of Columbia and members of the BSN generic nursing program at Central. Kausler is also on the pre-nursing track.
Funds for Golden Cross scholarships, given to nursing students since 2013, are raised through offerings by Missouri United Methodist churches. The scholarship fund is owned by the Missouri Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church and administered by the Missouri United Methodist Foundation. CMU is responsible for the administration of the program and selection of the recipients.
