As spring approaches, high school seniors across the country are solidifying their college plans and preparing for the next step of their education. At Central Methodist University, an important step in that journey is attending Eagle Enrollment Day.
Students planning to attend CMU for the Fall 2020 semester are required to attend one of six Eagle Days scheduled for the spring and summer, the first one coming up on Tuesday, March 17.
Future Eagles will spend 3-4 hours on campus finalizing their enrollment at CMU, beginning at 1 p.m. on each of the following days:
Students and parents will engage in interactive sessions including the classroom experience, career development, learn how to utilize Digital U in the classroom, have a photo ID taken and much more. They will also have the opportunity to talk with an advisor about their course schedule and speak with a member of the financial and business offices.
Presentations available to prospective students on the day will include “Eagle Experience” from the Office of Student Development, in which students will learn about campus involvement and housing, and “Experience Digital U,” where students will be given information about the Digital U program and their iPads.
For parents, presentations will include “@CMU,” where they will learn about the enrollment process and their students’ first year, and “University 101,” in which parents can experience a day in the life of their student, with classroom demonstrations by faculty members.
Presentations on financial readiness and advising will also be given, including information on the business office, financial aid, advising, student IDs, and parking.
