Cast, Crew Announced for November Play

The November play scheduled to grace the stage at The Little Theatre is the perfect show to get the Central Methodist University community in the holiday spirit.

Director Mark Kelty and the theatre department will put on ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas at 7:30 p.m. on November 16 and 1:30 p.m. November 17. The show is open to all ages and tickets will be available at the door.

Written by award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig, the show follows “the wild adventures of a mouse, an elf, and a spunky little girl who just won’t take no for an answer.”

The CMU production will feature a cast of Bailey Stevens as Emily, Ben Kixmiller as Amos/Amos of Kansas, Hadley Wiggans as Uncle Brierly/Sir Guy, Dylan Deeney as Wendell Sneed/Mulch/Santa, and KK Watts as Britannia/Calliope.

Emily Braden will serve as the show’s assistant director and stage manager, while Kayla Wainscott will be the assistant stage manager. Both will manage props as well.

Jaiden Preston and Ashley Brewer will be in charge of costumes, and Eric Lotz and Jenny Barnett have been named running crew.

Additional crew includes Zach Barnes on sound board, Jeremy Jenewein on light board, and Anna Geurkink and Hailey Sage on public relations. Cory Bryan, Tres Hampton, and Catherine Barnard will be the play’s welcome ambassadors.

Also contributing to the show will be Elizabeth Hartwell as choreographer, Lonna Wilke on scene and light design, Terri Rohlfing on costume design, and Paul Byland as scene shop foreman.
