Fifteen Central Methodist University singers will perform solo songs at the annual GEMS of Vocal Literature recital on Thursday, October 25.
Each year, select students are chosen to perform solos from Italian, German, French, English, and American art songs at the recital. This year’s program features voice students of Dr. Susan Quigley-Duggan and Dr. Laura Wiebe.
Singers on the program this fall include Taylor Graham, mezzo soprano; Phillip Brown, tenor; Hannah Guilford, mezzo soprano; Anna Pendergrass, soprano; Ezechiel Daos, tenor; Libby Cueni-Smith, soprano; Josh Stettes, tenor; Megan Adams, soprano; Rachel Martin, soprano; Keaton Denney, tenor;
Cori Bryan, soprano; Hailey Sage, soprano; KeKona Asi, soprano; Kennedy Walker, soprano; Ben Pilger, baritone; and Marissa Dickman, soprano.
Mary Jane Nance will join the singers as collaborative pianist.
The recital will take place at 7:30 p.m. in Kountz Recital Hall on the Fayette campus of CMU.
