New Resident Assistants Announced

New RAsCentral Methodist University’s 22 resident assistants (RAs) were some of the first to arrive on campus as the new academic year approaches.

The role of the residential life staff, which includes a hall director and assistants for each residence hall, is to provide support for students living on campus. They play an incredibly vital role in the overall on-campus experience, and have been undergoing training to ensure they are adequately prepared.

The following Central Methodist students will serve as RAs, and will be available to lend guidance and support – mentally, emotionally, or physically – to Central Methodist students.

Holt Hall (mostly freshmen hall for women):
Margret Severini, an education and physical education double major from Odessa, Mo.; Amy Blair, a biology major from Maywood, Mo.; Gabby Tucker, an undeclared major from Festus, Mo.; Hailey Ferguson, a criminal justice major from Columbia, Mo.; and Alexis Head, a biology major from O’Fallon, Mo.

Howard-Payne Hall (co-ed hall):
D’Yanna Kloog, a sociology major from Naperville, Ill.; Tanner Cassity, a biology major from Springfield, Mo.; Grace McIntosh, a marine biology major from Hannibal, Mo.; Logan Lindsay, a biology major from Hallsville, Mo.; and Mikayla Hermanson, a business major from Sedalia, Mo.

Burford Hall (hall for men):
Michael Brown, a music major from O’Fallon, Mo.; Samuel Petrin, a history major from Palm Coast, Fla.; Forest Dodge, a business major from Blue Springs, Mo.; and Robert Spilman, an exercise science major from Higbee, Mo.

Woodward Hall (mostly freshmen hall for men):
Colton Skyles, an education and physical education double major from Ava, Mo.; Jobe Edwards, a marine biology major from Lockwood, Mo.; Nicholas Wheeler, an exercise science major from Kansas City, Mo.; and Abdulai Rashid, a chemistry major from Montlair, Va.

McMurry Hall (co-ed hall):
Ethan Nuss, a middle school education major from Grain Valley, Mo.; Reagan Sullivan, a psychology major from Slater, Mo.; Lauren Payne, a biology major from Dearborn, Mo.; and Casey Vaughn, a biology major from Cape Girardeau, Mo.
