Husband and wife team Kylie and Drew Tillman led a team of Central Methodist University students earlier this month at the Mid-America Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference at Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana.
The Tillmans, seniors from Springfield, MO who were married in 2015, presented posters featuring their own original research conducted at CMU. Drew’s poster was titled: The Influence of Psychological Contract Breach and Type on Job Outcomes. Kylie’s poster presentation was titled: Collateral Sanctions: Stigmatization of Previously Incarcerated Individuals and Endorsements of Punishments in Nordic Countries vs. The United States.
CMU students Dala Wooldridge, Luis Gonzalez, and Brittany Kempker attended the conference along with Kylie and Drew and Associate Professor of Psychology Jackie Anson, Ph.D.
Twenty-one institutions from across the Midwest were represented at the conference. This is the second year CMU has had students present their work, and Anson said the intent is to be back next year.
