Bethany Beeler Joins Technology Services Team

To be successful in providing great customer service, it is important to be helpful, personable, and knowledgeable.

Central Methodist University has found these qualities in Bethany Beeler, from Glasgow, who was recently named the new helpdesk customer service representative for CMU’s Technology Services team.

In this role, Beeler serves as front-line support for faculty, staff, and students at Central Methodist, with duties including entering and tracking work order requests in the helpdesk system, answering the helpdesk phone, and providing basic technical support while staying busy with data entry, inventory management, and processing of invoices and other paperwork.

“I’m so happy to join the CMU community again. I had worked part-time for CMU in the printing office almost 10 years ago and I loved it,” Beeler said. “I look forward to all CMU has to offer and am excited to get to know the faculty, staff, and students all around campus.”

For nine years, Beeler worked as a lead early Head Start teacher for Central Missouri Community Action’s Head Start in Fayette. There, she led routine, daily schedules with children and maintained relationships with families. She received significant experience with data entry and complying with state licensing and federal regulations. She also kept up-to-date medical information on all children, and assisted her supervisor with other responsibilities as assigned.

Beeler currently lives in Glasgow with her husband, Morgan, and their two children.
