Winter break is coming to an end for Central Methodist University students, and they will soon be making their way back to the Fayette campus to kick off their spring semester.
Resident assistants will return to campus on Jan. 10 to begin training and prepare the residence halls for new and returning CMU students.
The residence halls will officially open at noon on Sunday, Jan. 13 for students to move in, and classes will begin for the campus’ second semester at 8 a.m. on Monday, Jan.14.
New student orientation will be Monday, Jan. 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the fourth floor of the Inman Student and Community Center. The event is designed for all first-time CMU students for the spring semester, including transfers from community colleges or four-year schools.
“Students will receive valuable campus knowledge, information about resources, and of course, lunch,” said Brad Dixon, dean of students at CMU. “It is an open discussion, so they can maintain their class schedules.”
Students who still need to enroll for the 2019 spring semester should contact the CMU Admission Office at 660-248-6251 or admissions@centralmethodist.edu.
