On Monday, Oct. 29, Central Methodist University will host Business Day, which welcomes potential students interested in earning a business degree. The event is one of many Central’s Office of Admissions offers to showcase opportunities for prospective students.
Business Day, which begins at 9 a.m., includes meetings with faculty, opportunities to sit in on classes and interact with current students, lunch in Bergsten Dining Hall, and campus tours.
The event provides potential students an inside view of the classes that the Business major focuses on at Central. The Business major covers a variety of areas including accounting, marketing, advertising, and more.
“CMU Business Day is a great opportunity for students who are interested in business, or not sure what they want to major in, to learn more about what Central has to offer,” said Associate Director of Admission Jennifer Shepard.
Julie Bennett, associate professor of business, will conduct the initial welcome and introduce attendees to the CMU Enactus team. Potential students will then have the opportunity to sit in on an Accounting, Principals of Marketing, and Introduction to Business classes.
If interested in attending, please register by Friday, Oct. 26.
