The Wicks Organ Recital, which had to be postponed recently at Central Methodist University due to inclement weather, has been rescheduled.
The new date is Saturday, Feb. 24, at 4 p.m. in Linn Memorial United Methodist Church. The recital is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
The recital will include organ performances, alone and with other instruments, including a flute choir and a bell choir. Dr. Barb Berwin, dean of the Swinney Conservatory of Music, and Ruth Spayde, Linn organist and CMU adjunct professor will lead the organists. Others will include Dr. William McIntosh and CMU student Miranda Weigand.
The Wicks Organ Recital is presented annually by Linn Memorial and Central Methodist University, under the auspices of the American Guild of Organists.
