Central Methodist University is poised to award its second Eagle Select Scholarship to a hard-working, intelligent, and talented high school senior who will attend CMU this fall.
According to Dr. Joe Parisi, CMU vice president for enrollment management, the scholarship is valued at $90,000 for the four years of undergraduate studies. The competition will take place on Thursday, Feb. 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Inman Student and Community Center’s Jacobs Conference Center (fourth floor) on the CMU Fayette campus.
Current high school seniors with an ACT score of 26 or above, and a 3.5 cumulative grade point average are eligible to apply, and there is no cost or fee to compete, according to Parisi.
The Eagle Select Competition tests participants’ verbal, written, and mathematical skills. Business professional attire is recommended for competitors, though it’s not required. Family members are welcome to come along, and special programming for them will be offered during the contest.
To register, students can go to go.centralmethodist.edu/eagleselect. The registration deadline is Tuesday, Jan. 30.
