More than 350 people were guests at Central Methodist University’s “A CMU Christmas,” held on Friday, Dec. 8 at the Philips-Robb Recreation Center on campus.
Children in attendance participated in raffles, games, and making decorations. They were also treated to Christmas movies and the chance to get their pictures taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
The event was hosted by CMU’s Offices of Student Development, Civic Engagement, and Greek Life. It was sponsored by Academy Sports from Columbia, Fresh Ideas Food Service, and The Attic from Fayette.
Helping the event be a success were members of sororities and fraternities, the CMU Spirit Squad and Dance Team, and Civic Engagement scholars, in addition to the Clauses and the many families who made the trip for the Christmas event.
