Christmas is so much about kids and fun, together. Central Methodist University and friends are offering a chance for area children to come to its Philips-Robb Recreation Center on Friday, Dec. 8, from 6:30-8 p.m. for entertainment, a visit with Santa, and a generally great time.
The event is free and open to kids of all ages, although adult supervision is required. The Philips-Robb Center is on the northeast corner of the Fayette campus, across from Davis field.
Kids will enjoy visiting with Santa and Mrs. Claus and getting their pictures taken. The specials “Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer,” “Frosty the Snowman,” and “Frosty Returns” will be shown on CMU’s indoor movie screen.
Christmas-themed games will be available to play, with opportunities to win prizes. A drawing will be held at the end of the event for the winner of a 14-foot trampoline.
The evening is sponsored by the CMU Office of Student Development, The Office of Civic Engagement, CMU’s Greek life, Endless Option’s The Attic, and Academy Sports and Outdoors.
