Central Methodist University’s Enactus team will host a car show on Saturday, September 23 in Fayette’s Town Square, and everyone is invited to attend or participate.
Enactus is an international organization focused on empowering students to take entrepreneurial action toward bettering the world. The team regularly reaches out to local entrepreneurs, schools, and organizations in an effort to help the community and those in need.
The Enactus team is currently in the process of planning family activities and setting up food vendors for the event. The car show welcomes everyone, either as participants or as spectators.
Class options include: Antique/Classic Pre 1950, Classic 1950-1959, Classic 1960-1969, Classic 1970-1999, Street Rod Pre 1949, Street Machine 1949-2000, Muscle Cars 1960-1969, Muscle Cars 1970-1979, Pro Street All (narrowed rear-end), Rat Rods, Corvettes (all years), Motorcycles, Trucks Stock (all), Trucks Modified (all), Late Model 2000-present, Special Interest, and Under Construction.

To enter the show, the cost is $12 for those who pre-register, and $15 for anyone who would like to register at the gate. Pre-registration forms are to be completed by Saturday, Sept. 16. To obtain a registration form, for class questions, or more information, contact Alexandra Hudelson.
Central’s Enactus team hopes to raise funds that can be applied toward expanding their horizon in other communities, with an international project focused in Nicaragua.
“CMU Enactus members believe in the overall mantra of the organization, which is ‘We live our values of passion, innovation, integrity and collaboration in all that we do,’” said Julie A. Bennett, associate professor of business and Enactus Sam Walton Fellow. “Because if we all work together we can make a difference.”
