Central Methodist Sets Union Graduation

The completion of a college degree program is a reason to celebrate, and Central Methodist University will give dozens of citizens of Franklin County and the region a chance to celebrate during upcoming Commencement ceremonies.

CMU will hold graduation festivities on Tuesday, July 25 at 7 p.m. in the Anson Performing Arts Center in Hansen Hall on the East Central College campus in Union. Many of the students graduating that night will have come through CMU’s partnership with East Central College.

Delivering the Commencement address will be Dan Leslie, an adjunct faculty member of Central Methodist University since 1999. Leslie teaches in the areas of law, economics, and business.

Leslie has been a practicing attorney in Missouri for 27 years and serves as Municipal Judge for four cities. He has an Associates Degree from East Central College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from William Jewell College, a Masters of Business Administration Degree from Williams Woods University, and a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

In addition to his legal duties, Leslie serves as the President of the Saint Louis Heat Football Team, who compete in a non-profit law enforcement football league. He also serves as the Director of Football Operations for Missouri Baptist University.
