Central Methodist University will host a President’s Day Open House for students with an interest in attending CMU on Monday, Feb. 20, on the Fayette campus.
The Office of Admission at CMU will host the event, which is open to prospective students including high school juniors and seniors, as well as transfer students from other colleges and universities. Family members are also welcome.
Those who attend will have opportunities to learn about student life at CMU, and speak with faculty in chosen areas of study, athletic coaches, and directors in the Fine and Performing Arts program.
“We want to provide an individualized campus visit that we can tailor to their desired interests,” said Jennifer Shepard, associate director of admission.
Explanations will be provided regarding the admission process, financial aid, scholarship opportunities, and more. Campus tours will be provided, as well as a complimentary lunch.
“The open house is a great way for students to explore CMU in a group format,” said Adam Jenkins, director of admission. “We often see many of these students later decide to attend CMU, and find this event as a helpful starting point.”
Registration will begin at 10 a.m. on the fourth floor of CMU’s Student and Community Center on Feb. 20. Those interested in attending are asked to make reservations.
